About
An exciting glimpse at the newest talents in contemporary literature, Leave Us Some Unreality showcases the work of thirteen writers currently studying at the Oscar Wilde Centre at Trinity College Dublin. These M. Phil in Creative Writing students represent a diverse group, coming from Ireland, the United States and Canada. An anthology consisting of both prose and poetry, Leave Us Some Unreality contains the highlights of these authors’s work to date.
Words from Gerald Dawe:
“Leave Us Some Unreality has eight stories which contain, among much else, exploding whales, monsoon rains and love trails en route to deluged New Orleans, the fraught subway world of New York, troubled family lives, both at home in Ireland and further afield in TV-land, on the move, fatally, through Dublin’s flatland, strange goings-on in British Columbia, and different kinds of elegance in the global office.
Alongside this heady brew you have poems by five very different and individual poets from Ireland and the US.”
